ANNNNNNNDDD WELCOME!
Hello Internet!
My name is Zach de Treville, a genius, expert, person who enjoys two things:
- Film (also known as a Movie, Moving Picture, or Film)
- Wine (also known as…um…Wine)
I would consider these two things to be my greatest passions (except for maybe kittens wearing sweaters, but that just wouldn’t gel with the other two, and I don’t want so many topics one one blog, it’s like a blog smash, or a run-on blog, just like this is a run-on sentence.)
So, with this, my inaugural post, I just wanted to say that this blog will focus on the talking about films and the wines that I think pair well with them. (How bout that “inaugural post” huh? I didn’t just want to use first because that’s boring. It was between inaugural and rudimentary. Too British. I’m not that fancy, and let’s face it, the British are fancy.)
Enough. I’m rambling. I’ve taken it too far. This is a welcome post. An introduction to the subject the blogger wishes to blog about, and the style in which the blogger shalt blog. Basically, I’ll talk about films (new and old) that pair well with wines (new and old), along with some links t0 sites like snooth.com or imdb.com, in case you want to know more about a wine or a film, or if you don’t trust me. I mean this is the internet. I could just be some creepy guy in his late 40s, sipping a bottle of sangria, sitting in front of my computer in my Teletubbies boxers, but that’s ridiculous.
I’m not in my 40s.
